Volunteers are essential to the work we do at Littlehampton Museum, and we have a dedicated team of Volunteers helping us with a range of projects and tasks. These range from cataloguing our collection to carrying out research and answering our many public enquiries.

Volunteer Vacancies

 

Littlehampton Museum is currently recruiting new volunteers to work on Project Time Machine, a funded by a National Lottery ‘Unlocking Collections’ grant. From October 2024, the second part of the Time Machine Project will involve volunteers working in the gallery, cataloguing and researching the social history collections, capturing rich new context and hopefully uncovering some currently “hidden” histories.

Donate an object

The Museum accepts donations of items with a specific connection to Littlehampton and its people. For more information on what we do and do not collect the object donations guide can be downloaded here.

If you wish to donate an object please contact the Museum via email and where possible supply photographs. Please note that we cannot accept donations at Reception without prior contact and we will ask you to take the item away with you.
